Empire Tap Clans: How to Team Up with Friends and Rule a Region Together
▶ Play Empire TapBuilding an empire alone is exciting. Building one with friends is even better. In Empire Tap, clans let up to twenty commanders join forces on the real world map: they share a tag, they cannot attack each other, and together they compete for the top of the clan leaderboard. Here is everything you need to know to found a clan, recruit members and turn a group of friends into a power that rules a whole region.
Found your clan
Open the clan panel and choose a tag of two to four letters or digits, a name and a colour. Founding a clan costs 200 gold, so collect your daily gift and finish a few missions first. As the founder you are the leader: you can see the clan code, accept new members by sharing it, and remove members when you need to. Pick a short, bold tag, because it will appear on every land your members own.
Invite members with the clan code
Nobody can slip into your clan by accident. To join, a player needs the clan's code, which every member can see and share. Send it to friends in your group chat, to neighbours you meet on the map, or to the commander who keeps fighting beside you. A clan can hold up to twenty members, so choose people who play regularly and who are active in the same part of the world.
No friendly fire, shared borders
Clanmates cannot siege each other's lands. That simple rule changes everything: two friends can build right next to each other without fear, merge their fronts and face enemies together. A clan that settles one area creates a solid block on the map where only outsiders can be attacked, and where every member's tag shines on every land.
Climb the clan leaderboard
Clans are ranked by the total area of all their members' lands. Every square metre grown by any member pushes the whole clan up. Coordinate your efforts: agree on who grows, who fortifies the borders and who attacks. Members who use a boost at the same time can make the clan jump several places in a single evening, and finishing daily missions together keeps everyone's gold flowing.
Lead a clan that lasts
A good leader keeps the clan active and fair. Welcome new members, explain your plan, and remove players who have stopped playing to make room for those who will. If you ever leave a clan, you must wait one hour before joining another one, so think before you switch sides. Above all, keep talking: the clans that rule the map are the ones whose members help each other every day.
